A buddy of mine recommended this place- I was impressed. I got the fajita quesadilla special, 7.95, tons of food, delicious, and quick! Fresh chips were plentiful, and th service was very good. Not health food, but fresh and tasty!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. It is authentic food, fabulous choices, and these guys REALLY know how to make a margarita! You can build your own, pick a specialty or sample a bit of everything. Go there hungry! The décor is basic, the staff is exceptional and the prices are great!

A go to place for family and kids. Menu is extensive, prices are very reasonable, and service is always prompt. My teenage children love it as it fits in their budget. Very popular at lunch!

This restaurant is located in the Riverview section of Norfolk, about 3 miles from downtown or 4 miles (or less) from the Naval Base. Their service is very good, food is fresh and tasty and quite a few vegetarian options offered, prices are reasonable. They have specials, are open for lunch and dinner, and do a lot of take-out business.

Have been here more than once but this last time was nothing to write home about. The salsa had waaayyy too much cilantro in it and was hard to eat. The white sauce however was delish! We were seated in a corner near the kitchen/beverage station opening and it was cramped. Not to mention people coming in and out constantly....

I love mexican food and am pretty picky about what is "real" mexican food but the food here at Mi Hogar is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. I was never disappointed in what I got…which was a plus because I was pregnant at the time and mexican food was a craving of mine. The staff were always very friendly...

We make it here about 3 times a month. Quick good food with great salsa - and the salsa blanca is wonderful. The fajitas are always sizzling, and the staff courteous. What more do you want?

I went here since I had seen this place on my way from my temporary work to the hotel. The parking lot was pretty full each day so I went in to see what all those folks liked. I came away liking Mi Hogar as well. I was seated immediately, even at 6PM. The staff was very attentive and friendly....

Excellent cheap mexican. extremely fast service, decent margaritas, and the best salsa in town. it can get a little packed but it's still a family favorite for us. they also have live mariachi music the 1st wednesday of every month for the full experience.
